Optimize Your Video
Here’s how to optimize your video for better ranking.
- Title: Include your target keyword in your title. So if you were trying to rank for “how to make a home beer” you’d want a title like: “Case Study: How To Make a Home Beer Naturally”.
- Tags: Tags don’t help much, but they’re very important in helping YouTube and Google learn what your video is about.
- File Name: Video file are very important in optimizing your video. For example, if you wanted to rank for the keyword “how to start a small business”, you’d want to name your video how _to_start_a_small_business.mp4.
- Description: Under description, write at least 500 words of unique, descriptive wording and add external links to website and social profiles.
